Good introduction for beginners — informative, and with lots of clear photos. Goes through different types of sewing machines, tools, threads, fabrics, interfacings, explains how to make simple pattern alternations, covers seams, hemming, darts, zippers… you name it.
The 15 projects are alright, maybe not everyone’s style, but explained well with diagrams.
