Although a bit repetitive at some point, “The Anatomy of Story” is a great book.
I’ve never read anything on this subject, so I can’t compare it to alternatives.
Anyway, if you want clear, right to the point, technical but still passionate and beautiful guide on what makes a story work (and what doesn’t), this is the book for you. But beware: it has so many spoilers…
