Designing Data-Intensive Applications: The Big Ideas Behind Reliable, Scalable, and Maintainable Systems by Martin Kleppmann

Posted at — Feb 19, 2018

The book is basically a brilliant blog post on data systems preceded by 11 chapters of material you need to know to understand that post. Well, that, plus hundreds of references (literally).

The author draws useful parallels between concepts and gives a nice broad overview of things as they are at the moment of writing. So if there’s a time to read this book, it’s now.
